Team Curt started the game firing on all cylinders and jumped out to a commanding lead early.  Mike Gersitz only shot a session “low” 46.7% from the field, grabbed 19 rebounds, and finished with a 37 GAPE, becoming grinder of the week for the second time in as many weeks.  That 37 Gape was also enough to earn him Hero Baller of the Week, contributing to more than half of the total team effort.  Captain Curt Masich had his best game since his first game last session, hitting on 48% of his shots and finishing with 25 points for the night.  The rest of the team played excellent defense and helped keep a gassed Team Mike to 31.3% shooting.

Team Mike had their full roster to help in the second half of back-back games.  It proved to not matter as Team Mike joined Blue Balls in going winless in the weeks they play back-to-back games.  Captain Mike Malicki got hot in the second half to make this one a “game”, but in the end, his 6 3-pointers were not enough.  14 turnovers, dehydration, old age, and temper tantrums all caught up to this team as they struggled to find their game.
