Recap

The opening game of the night was a much closer contest than expected. Despite Tommy “Play That Funky Music White Boy” Hughes and Jeff “All The Way” May’s best efforts to sabotage their chances, Team Gray was in this one right until the end. Paul “I tug to Munn” Johnson was in the zone all night, but for some reason, didn’t get the ball at the end of the game as his team wasted his 18 GAPE night. Mike “I have the best chance to score Munn” Benjamin put in 12 points and shot 54.5% from the floor.

Team Curt figured things out in the end, and managed to hang on to a 4 point victory. Mike “I’m Good on Defense” Gersitz made 80% of his shots, and finished with a ridiculous 54 GAPE. Curt “I told you guys, Mike is good on DEFENSE” Masich finished with 22 and a 28 GAPE. Helmet put in his token 2 points. That’s it for the highlights. Kellen “Oh, Those Are Supposed to Go IN The Basket” Owen shot a dismal, historically bad 1-18 (not a typo). Eric “E” Boerdner was slightly better, shooting 18.9% for the game. Good thing Curt swindled the other captains by downplaying his buddy Mike’s skills, or else this team would be in trouble. No wonder Curt hasn’t stopped smirking all session.
