The game between The Long Con and Team Thirsty was everything we expected it to be – filled with drama, missed shots, and more missed shots.

Led by impressive performances from Jimmy Zeitz and Chris “Suck My” Hole<, Team E managed to edge out their opponents in a closely fought game. Zeitz had a particularly noteworthy game, shooting an impressive 61.1% from the field and scoring 22 points along with 10 rebounds and 4 assists – finishing with a high overall game score of 96.2. Cole also had a solid game, scoring 21 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 3 assists. Chris Cole continued to taunt unsuspecting spectators with his three-pointers.  Captain “E” contributed with 14, Old Man Jon had a game low Suck score, and Helmet chipped in with 3 GAPE.

While Chuck made a valiant effort to stage a late comeback (who am I kidding, half the team wanted to quit with like 3 minutes left), they were unable to overturn the deficit, with Chuck Thomasulo’s 19 points and Jeff May”s 28 points not enough to secure a win. Peyton Urbaniak did his best to keep the team going with his three assists and late 3-pointer, but it was Mike Salvati who caught our attention with a solid 10/8/8 night.

Overall, Team E had a slightly better shooting percentage at 43.1% compared to Chuck”s 38.8%, which may have ultimately proved to be the difference in the game.  Also, nobody quit.  That helped.
