1=1, 2=2, 3=3, but 64 doesn”t equal 64? I”m confused. You”re down 4. You”re down 2. No. Wait, You”re up 4. Nope, up 2. Oh boy oh boy oh boy. It was a tough night for the scoreboard/stats people.

All of that said, the 8:30 didn”t disappoint the crowd. There were ebbs and flows throughout, lead changes, ties, etc. It was one of the better games to watch to be honest. There wasn”t much complaining between the teams (for once).

Jimmy “Killer Hesi” Zeitz continues to be on an absolute tear through opposing Grinders defenses. He”s turning into an automatic double when he goes to the bucket. Jimmy had 24 points on over 50% shooting and carried the Long Con offense. OMJ had 4 points on 40% shooting, knocking down a jumper and driving for a layup. Helmet finished with 4 points, 2 boards, and 1 steal. Both Jon and Helmet did a great job on the defensive end making life difficult for Crazy Al (8 pts). Captain E struggled a bit from the field (6/17, no 3”s) but had a very balanced stat-line (12/5/6/1) and got important buckets late in the game.

The attack for the No Names was pretty balanced. Crazy Al had 8/10. Gersitz had 18/9/3/2 and held Fat Cole down for the vast majority of the game before switching to Jimmy. Richie had 22/7 on 21 shots with some big 3”s near the end of the game. Corey “Bloodsport” Muldowney had our first “bucket and ball” of the session which almost cost his team the game. Mark “White Lightning” Doyle had 14 points, but none bigger than the jumper he hit to tie things up at the end of the first OT.\

No Names (and the stats guys) pulled it out in Double OT, getting awarded the win as the score changed 3 different times during the game. Please make sure your “X””s look like “X””s, your 2”s and 3”s are clear…etc. etc.
