What a thriller this game was. It might be the longest game in Grinders history ever recorded (3 OT”s). This game went back and forth and back again. Black had the early lead thanks to back-to-back BANKED in 3”s by Curt. The Dark Side kept it close, continuing their punishing style of basketball in the post. Vaillancourt and Justin were getting fed on the block on almost every possession. E countered for team Curt hitting some timely jumpers and getting to the rack. Eric Carlson took Dark Side on a run continuing his hot playoff run hitting jumper after jumper. Then it was KO”s turn as he got to the bucket whenever he wanted.

Dark Side had a chance to win at the end of regulation but Cole threw the ball away. Team Curt had a chance to win in OT but Curt missed a contested jumper. They had a chance to win again in Double OT but again missed a jumper. Finally in the third OT, Team Curt took it to the rack and got a contested layup for the lead late. Dark Side”s Eric had a half court heave for the win but it went the way of Gordon Hayward, Butler v Duke and bounced away off the bank. Team Curt moves on to the finals to play……….
