Again, another game another blowout. Get some balls people.

This game started off hot with a barrage of 3”s coming from Captain E, Bang Bang, Curt, and Cole. Tommy Hughes could be heard on the sidelines, “Someone shoot a 2!” Team Clap in Your Face never needed to. Curt hit (5) 3’s (mostly in Cole’s smug face) in the first half. Where he left off, Bang Bang Tirado picked up finishing with TEN made 3’s and a game and lifetime high of 36 points. This game was close until the 2-3 minute mark when the Con offense dried up and couldn’t keep pace with the shooting of Clap Bang. The lead was 13 at half by god did it grow. As the lead swelled, tempers flared as Captain E. got into it with Clap Clap Tirado which extended into the post-game handshake line. Things should be interesting in game 2 of this series.

Bang Bang and co. had their way with the Long Con d and scored at will. Curt finished with 20 points to go along with 17 rebounds and a 33 GAPE. Captain Tirado finished with a 23 GAPE. Lil’ Josh went 3/3 from the field while Vaillancourt had 11 rebounds. Vaillancourt however left his offense in Baltimore with his new bed. Nixon wasn”t supposed to be there (rumor had it) and based on his play, he wasn’t.

As far as the Long Con goes, boy oh boy did they miss Jimmy on both ends. Old Man Jon, Helmet, and Captain E. had offensive games that were downright offensive. Jon and Helmet even finished with negative GAPE’s (usually only reserved for Richie “MIA” Creamer. The 3 ex-Con’ers finished a combined 10/48 from the field. Cole had a good game on offense with 21/17, (most coming in scrub time a la Ford) but was continually torched on D. Hopefully Jimmy will help these sad sacks out next week.
