Pre-game: Can KO and Co. be stopped on their way to the ‘ship? How will Curt deal with Tirado calling the shots instead of himself?

The game tape: Much like the 7:30 game, this was a no-contest. Yes Bang-Bang was missing Vaillancourt, but the Jets were short Tommy. The Molly-whopping started almost immediately as the Jets flew right through Bang Bang’s 2-2 zone. The Jets got uncontested shot after shot, often giving up easy looks for an even easier look, toying with their opponent. Justin got in close most of the game feasting off of the ball movement. He had 28/12/5 on 56% shooting. This stat line made him the Grinding GAPE’r of the week (35 GAPE). KO had a 5/4/3 stat line without breaking a sweat. Zach “Zooblander” Newberry showed what he could do without the restraints of the Dadbods 4-corners offense. Zoobs had 16 pts on 19 shots (both career highs) while also recording 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Going almost unnoticed in this onslaught was this season’s first triple-double recorded by Josh “420” Lanzot (12/15/10, 25 GAPE).

The good thing for Bang Bang is that they have 9 games to improve. The bad thing for Bang Bang is that they have to play 9 more games. The TEAM shot 21% from the field with a TOTAL team GAPE of 6. I’d try and say more but my god. You get what you give. You gave us crap on the court…….your write up is done.
