Going into the game most people felt this could be a championship game preview. Then Tommy and Justin no-showed and Kellen got the shitty version of Cole (2/10, 4 pts).

Kellen, Newbs, and Cole went a combined 7/41. Thank goodness for Josh Lanzot or the score could have been a 30/40 point drubbing. Lanzot played bully ball down low and went for 26 pts on 13/28 to go along with 11 rebounds. He was the only real highlight for the Jets.

Crazy Al”s moshpit of speed controlled the game. They ran around the bigger, heavier, sluggish Jets who never got off the Tarmac. As a team they shot nearly 50% from the field. Crazy had 8. Gersitz had 9. Cory had 5. Richie had 10. The story of the game was how easy Mark “Vanilla Sky” Doyle got around the Jet defense. Doyle dropped 24 points on 12/16 shooting. When the Jets played off he buried a jumper. When they challenged, he went by them. If someone else shot, he got the board and layed it in. It was a pure demonstration of speed, athleticism, and stamina.
