Mike “The Whole Damn Show” Malicki did it again to Chris “The Fat Fundamental” Cole. This story never changes does it folks? Mike beats Cole. Cole whines and cries. Mike laughs (to himself….in private) and pretends to be humble. It”s like a Grinders version of Groundhog Day. Onto the game……

Again the Dark Side decided to get behind by as many points as possible and then stage a furious (Fast and Furious?) yet futile comeback. This team was looked at on draft day as one of the favorites and now seems destined for the 4/5 play-in game. Too many missed shots and too many careless turnovers continue to doom this team. It was great to see Justin “The Mailman” Rybinski back in action. Justin is one of the league”s OG”s and is looking to get back into form. Vaillancourt shot 50% from the field but should”ve been better given they were all layups. AK47 chipped in with 3 buckets and intimidated Team Mike. They refused to come inside on the Russian Bear and shot prissy jumpers instead. Kudos to you Khabib.

Team Mike had it on cruise control the whole game. They carved up the Dark Side zone playing inside to out, outside to in, left to right, right to left, and bar to bathroom, at will against the much older and heavier men clad in pink. They shot almost 45% as a team and only had 6 turnovers. Richie “Broken Mirrors Equal 7 Years Bad Luck” Creamer had 19 along with Malicki. Wayne “Workout Warrior” Haynes had 15 and made Cole a non-factor until the game was pretty much over. Jon “That”s My Wife” Urbaniak and Josh “Pass the Dutch” Lanzot each chipped in with 6 points.
